Description:
Beautiful clean All Aluminum Featherlite bumper pull horse trailer. ( Purchased brand new from the dealer.) This is the 3-horse Model # 9408 on the Featherlite web site. This trailer is in excellent condition. Used only one season. Has an escape door on the first horse, drop down windows at each head, slider windows (with screens) on the rear, two tack areas with removable saddle racks in both (large room in front is also called a dressing room). Tack room in back is completely removable, as are the inside dividers. A solid wall separates the horse area from the dressing room. Front dressing/tack room has a screen door, brush box (comes with 2 extra brush boxes I never got around to hanging!), bridle hooks, a 3ft clothes rod and houses a water tank. The aluminum floor is covered by a 3/4” thick rubber mat in the horse area while the walls are lined with rubber. Windows in front of each horse have drop down feed door with drop down bars in front of each horse; also 24" x 20" windows with bars behind each horse. Double rear doors with windows, pressure latch & removable post. The stall slant dividers have shoulder separators and spring-loaded, recessed slam latches. Each stall has a hanging hay bag. One pop-up roof vent per horse. I had an extra outside ring tie put on so all 3 horses can be tied on one side of the trailer. The separate dressing room is 24” by 75”. Trailer is 17 feet x 5 inches long, 7 feet tall and 6 feet x 7 inches wide. Two 3500# rubber torsion axles with electric brakes. Empty weight is 2600 GVW is 7000. Just brought the trailer in and had all the brakes, tires, lights and wiring checked, along with having the wheel bearings re-packed and the hub seals replaced. It was also pressure washed inside and out.
