I have a 1993 F150 4.9 L 6 cyl. engine 5-speed manual transmission. I am interested in a 5 x10 enclosed trailer single axle that has a gross towing weight of 2,990 lbs. Will my truck be sufficient for this? Does anyone know the horsepower of this truck? Also will the trailers payload be what the manufacturer claims that it is? I'm concerned about a single axle, but I'm not intending to go over the payload weight. |

The truck you have is one that I also have and I would stay under the wait of 5000 with this truck. You should be fine. Make sure Transmission fluid is changed on regular cycles. |
