Capacity depends on stall count. 2-horse bumper pulls are most common (6x16 typical). 3-horse and 4-horse models step up to gooseneck. Stock combos and slant-loads can carry 4-6+ horses. Living quarters models add sleeping, kitchen, and tack room space.

Slant load angles horses diagonally — shorter trailer length, many horses prefer the position. Straight load is more traditional, horses face forward, easier to load and unload. Choice is personal and varies by horse temperament.

Non-slip rubber mat flooring, drop-down feed windows, dividers between stalls, escape door, ample ventilation, and a tack room. Aluminum construction lasts longer and resists rust. Living quarters for long trips add kitchen, bed, bathroom.
